In the event the House of Blues Music Forward Foundation Sunset Strip Half Marathon is NOT Sold Out, race day registration will be available Sunday morning from 6:00 a.m. – 6:45 a.m.

We are more than happy to make that change for you, but unfortunately we do not offer refunds for the difference in fees. Please send us an email at email@example.com stating that you would like to change from the half marathon to the 5K – please include your registration confirmation number. Inside 14 days of the event, all change requests must be made in person at the Health and Fitness Expo at the Solutions desk.

Our company policy does not allow for refunds or transfers between runners. Resale of bibs is strictly prohibited for the safety of all runners.

We are excited to offer 5 Pace Leaders for the Half Marathon. Look for them at the Start Line- they will be holding Finish Time signs. The Finish Times will be:

What if I cannot complete the course in the allotted time?
The cities of West Hollywood and Los Angeles require that streets be re-opened at 10:30 am, meaning a 13 minute per mile pace must be maintained by all half marathon runners. That timeline starts when the last runner crosses the start line. If you can proceed at a 13 minute per mile pace or faster (an approximate 3 hour half-marathon), you’ll have a course who’s roads are closed to vehicular traffic. If you are unable to maintain this pace, you’ll be directed to move off of the closed roadways and onto the sidewalk. In this instance, you will be required to follow local pedestrian rules and regulations. Course water, fluid replacement and nutrition stations will be shut down at the time of official course closure. Timing, post-race food and celebrations will be staffed through a three and a half hour finish time.

Can I run with a stroller?
Strollers will be permitted on the 5K course. We ask that those running with strollers start at the back of the race to ensure the safety of fellow runners. Strollers will not be permitted on the half marathon course.
What are the age restrictions?
The minimum age for runners in the 5K is 8 years old. The minimum age for runners in the half marathon is 14 years old. If you would like to request an exceptions please contact us prior to registering at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Are headphones allowed on course?
We do allow the use of headphones during our races, however, we ask that you run with one earpiece in and one out. We also encourage you to enjoy the on course entertainment that will be provided throughout your 5K and 13.1 mile run. We have prepared one of the best celebrations of music you’ll ever experience – ranging from 70s rock to modern rock to hip-hop to jazz. You’ll be entertained throughout the entire event experience.
What if I cannot pick up my packet during the expo hours?
We will allow for friend’s to pickup packets for friends. If you need to have someone else pick up your packet, you must provide them with a copy of your photo ID and bib number.
